Keeping Up With The Kids
I hear it at least 3 times a week; "dad lets go for a bike ride", only for me to stand up and my joints are aching, back is hurting, and im mentally exhausted from the work day. Biking used to be an easy and fun activity to connect with my children, but i've had to sacrifice that due to my body not being able to keep up anymore. They were sure to leave me behind every time, which made it difficult to keep an eye on them. Going at "dad's pace" wasn't something they particularly enjoyed either, even if they never said it. All this changed when I made the decision to get an Emoko E-Bike. It's pedal assist feels as though someone is giving me a nice push forward so i'm able to cruise, or go fully electric so I don't have to pedal at all. It's long range also ensures that i'll never run out of battery no matter how far we go. These days, i'm the one asking the kids if they want to go biking!
Switching Up My Boring Daily Routine
For about the past 10 years i've been in the same cycle (haha get it). Wake up, drive to work, stay for 8 hours, then drive home. Eat, sleep repeat. I'd been telling myself for ages that I wanted to start biking to work, as it would be a good change to my routine. By the time I even took the idea seriously, my body couldn't keep up anymore! That's when I started looking online for E-Bikes, and i'm beyond glad I found both the Emoko C93 and C91 from Marita Luxuries. Unlike other e-bike companies, they do not deliver false promises, and even give you up to a month to return the bike. On top of that they also offer free shipping (we all love that) I bought the C93 for myself, as I liked the moto-style look of it, and the C91 for my wife as she preferred something more simple. This made not only my work commute more exciting, but my day to day life as well. I've discovered so many trails I would have never known about (thanks to the off-road capability of the C93), and family bike rides have become a weekly tradition. Sometimes my wife and I will both head out together on just the C93, as it has space to seat two people, and we'll just enjoy a nice sunset cruise. She told me it feels like we're that young couple all over again and she loves it.
Price Point
I did a lot of research before deciding to pull the trigger on buying an e-bike, and the Emoko C93 and C91 from Marita Luxuries checked all the right boxes. Many companies sell these bikes for egregious prices, ranging from 2-4 thousand dollars. I knew I didn't want to spend that much, especially because price doesn't always mean quality. I mean, my old Toyota has lasted longer than my wifes Audi, and it seems like there's a repair needed on that thing every month. My goal was clear, I wanted quality for a good price. I started looking for E-bikes under $1000 and found the Emoko C91, but went with the C93 because of additional features and slick frame I liked more. It was worth it for an extra $200 over my budget. It was an easy decision because the C91 I got for my wife was a couple hundred dollars under my budget, so the numbers evened out. Just like my old Toyota, these C93 and C91 E-bikes have proven to be the best bang for my buck, with quality frames and long lasting designs.
